St. Michael Parish seeks to realize the Gospel message of peace and justice in our parish, our community, and our world by offering opportunities for education, service, and advocacy using our God-given gifts of time, talent, and treasure to promote the common good.
What do we do: We organize collections of furniture and household items for local service organizations; we organize Thanksgiving Baskets and Giving Trees at Christmas; we provide workshops and courses on topics such as hunger, racism, end-of-life issues, papal encyclicals on peace and social justice, and integrating prayer life and service.
Who can join: Anyone with an interest in service, education, and advocacy for social justice in the Catholic tradition. We love new energy!
When do we meet: The Second Tuesday of every month at 7pm.
Where do we meet: During COVID times, we meet online via Zoom. Otherwise, we meet at the Sacred Heart Hall on 11 Summer Street, Hallowell.
