Venture: The Bible Timeline introduces teenagers to the “big picture” of salvation history in a way that is simple to understand and easy to teach. This program will get teens to open their Bibles and learn the story of their faith with a focus on God’s covenants and biblical characters. Once teens understand the Bible, their faith will become a relevant and indispensable part of their lives. Begins on Monday, September 16th from 6:30-7:30 PM at the Knights of Columbus Hall in Gardiner. The book for this class is “Jesus, The Way, The Truth, and The Life” authored by Marcellino D’Ambrosio, a theologian, international speaker, and author of several best-selling books.  The book costs around $20 and can be obtained from several online retailers. Please come prepared to discuss the book’s Preface, Introduction, and Chapter 1 during our first class.

Families of all ages are invited to come together to build a community of support for each other in raising children in the faith. All generations are welcome! Join us once a month at Sacred Heart Hall, 5 Summer Street, Hallowell. Gathering at 5:30 PM and dinner at 6:00 PM followed by the evening’s activities. We will provide a simple main dish and drinks, and families are invited to bring a side dish to share! A free-will offering will be taken to help off-set costs. February 7 - Family Fun Game Night Dinner: Macaroni & Cheese Activity: Bring your favorite board game to play, plus we will have some active “Minute-to-Win-It” style games for some competitive family fun!
