St. Michael Parish partners with other faith communities to prepare and serve a free breakfast for our neighbors who are unhoused and others in need every third Saturday of the month at The Unitarian Universalist Community Church 69 Winthrop Street, Augusta. How Can I Help? You can help by: (1) volunteering for two hours to prepare, set-up, serve, or clean-up at a meal, (2) dropping-off homemade baked goods at a meal, or (3) making a monetary donation to the St. Michael Parish Food Ministry Programs. Every third Sunday of the month, the Knights of Columbus are sponsoring a fellowship gathering of coffee, juice, and donuts in the St. Michael School gym after the 9am Mass at St. Mary's. Contributions of baked goods are welcomed!
All teens are welcome to join us for Altaration - The Mystery of the Mass Revealed.
It is a five-part study featuring powerful videos, great presenters and discussions that allow you to talk about what you’re seeing—and ask your own questions about the Mass and the Catholic Faith. All teens are invited to join us as we take a deep dive into the Mystery of the Mass, uncovering the “hidden” meaning that will help us better understand what is happening and why it is so important.

The book for this class is “Jesus, The Way, The Truth, and The Life” authored by Marcellino D’Ambrosio, a theologian, international speaker, and author of several best-selling books. The book costs around $20 and can be obtained from several online retailers. Please come prepared to discuss the book’s Preface, Introduction, and Chapter 1 during our first class.
The St. Michael Parish Prayer Shawl Ministry brings together people who share a similar interest in knitting and crocheting for fellowship and prayer while using their giftedness to create prayer shawls, lap robes, baby blankets, and other items that will be given away to help spread the message of God's mercy, love, and compassion.
Rosary Makers regular meeting is held on the third Tuesday of each month 6:30-7:30 p.m. at St. Monica Hall. For more information please call Sandra Jean at 207-622-2761 or Sue Thomas at 207-458-0272. The Knights of Columbus Council 334 will be saying the Rosary on the last Sunday of each month before the 9:00 a.m. Mass at St. Mary Church. We will begin at 8:00 a.m.
