1962-2012 50th Anniversary
Beginning Thursday evening Oct. 4th, and for nine more sessions, once a week, Fr. Frank will lead a special study session on the great themes of the documents of the II Vatican Council. The sessions will begin promptly at 6:30pm and end by 8pm sharp.
We will listen to and discuss a series of talks by Fr. Anthony Ciorra M.Div., Phd. entitled “The Spirituality of Vatican II” followed by a discussion. After a short break we will view and then discuss a short video on the major documents of the Council. We will end with a prayer service highlighting the vision of Blessed Pope John XXIII who called the Council into session.
These will take place at the St. Monica Hall on Kendall St. near our St Michael Pastoral Center. On the two Thursdays the Hall is occupied the sessions will be held in the chapel upstairs. No session will be held Thanksgiving week.
Please call the Pastoral Center at 623-8823 to register. Attendance will be limited to 40 people. Bring your note pad and pen. No text will be required, but handouts and articles will be provided.
