Our parish will soon be resuming visits to the sick and homebound. Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion who visit with the sick, elderly, or shut-in are individuals who are looking to make a concrete difference in a parishioner's life. These visits provide a listening ear, and empathetic heart, and offer reassurance that our faith community has not forgotten them. If you are looking to resume this ministry or are interested in learning more about this ministry, then please join us for an initial training on Tuesday, June 29, 2021 at 6:30pm at St. Mary Church. This training will cover the basics of parish expectations, general guidelines for Extraordinary Ministers bringing Holy Communion to anyone outside of the church, how to obtain the Consecrated Hosts and appropriate care of a pyx, and visiting parishioners in different settings (home, care facility, and hospital).
