This Is My Body Faith Sharing We are in the midst of a 3-year international Catholic Eucharistic Revival, now being introduced at Parish level. The Revival is to restore and enhance a vibrant belief in the Eucharist; a revival in the firm belief and understanding of the true presence of Jesus in Body, Blood, Soul, and Divinity in the Sacrament of the Eucharist. An understanding of Christ’s total immersion in our bodies and souls on receiving the Eucharist at communion and in our soul’s immersion into Mystical Body of Christ at communion. In support of the Parish level revival in the Eucharist, we are offering a Faith Sharing class on a small book written by Bishop Robert Barron on the Eucharist, titled “This Is My Body”. The books will be made available to our Parishioners, at no cost. The classes will be offered at St. Joseph Church; downstairs hall
Tuesday evenings from 6:30 PM to 7:30 PM
beginning September 19 All Parishioners are invited to the class. Parishioners will be asked to read assigned pages in preparation for the following week’s class discussions, on Tuesdays. We will be discussing the Eucharist as a “Sacred Meal”, the
Eucharist as a “Sacrifice”, and if the Eucharist is just a “Symbol or Not”. Please join us in this most important class on what the Eucharist means or should mean to us Catholics. This is faith sharing at a level which we can all understand and comfortably participate in. Classes are expected to go on for about 5 to 6 weeks. See you in Class.
