How Do We Practice Faithful Citizenship? How do we cut through all the “noise” of the upcoming election to make informed choices that reflect our faith? Please join the St. Michael Social Justice Commission for a Zoom presentation featuring Suzanne Lafreniere, the Director of our diocese’s Office of Public Policy, on Thursday, October 8th from 7 - 8 pm. I n her work at the diocese, Suzanne spends a great deal of time advocating before the Maine State Legislature for public policies that reflect our Catholic faith. Suzanne works with both Republicans and Democrats; and brings a unique and helpful perspective on how we, as Catholics, can practice our call to faithful citizenship. This Zoom program is an opportunity to set our individual partisanships aside as we think about those elements of our faith that unite us. If you would like to join this Zoom meeting, please email [email protected]. A phone call-in option is also available by contacting Gina Czerwinski at 207-623-8823. We hope you can join us!
