The Dismas Ministry is an ecumenical ministry serving the inmates at the Kennebec County Correctional Facility in Augusta. We go in teams of 3-4 volunteers two – three times each month to meet with 6- 10 inmates for visits that last an hour or so. We listen to their stories, offer some spiritual support, pray with them and bring their prayer requests to the prayer chain so that others can offer up prayers on their behalf.
